Kodi Brown is a Child Development and Behavioral Specialist, Parent Educator, Educational Consultant, and Expert Witness with more than a decade of experience supporting children, families, schools, and legal professionals. She is the founder of TLC Behavior. Kodi holds a Bachelor's degree from Nicholls State University, a Master's degree in Counseling from Nicholls State University, and an Educational Specialist degree in Educational Leadership from Louisiana State University.
She has worked as a certified teacher and a certified school counselor, and holds the qualifications for a K-12 School Principal. Kodi holds Certifications as a Parent Educator and Behavior Coach, with additional training in basic mediation, functional behavior assessment, behavior intervention planning, forensic report writing, and high-conflict family dynamics. Throughout her career, Kodi has served as a district-wide Early Childhood Behavior Coach and an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant. Kodi is also the author of the children's book Just Leave Me Alone! She has been featured in publications focused on child development and family wellness. She is committed to helping adults better understand children's behavior so they can make informed, child-centered decisions that strengthen families and improve outcomes.
